Resources and space usages
During the event, there will be:
- A space with wifi to connect to the internet
- The “ressourcerie”, a place to store useful materials: DIY tools, art materials, audiovisual equipment (video projector, dictaphone, microphone), music equipment, fabric, cardboard, office supplies, paperboards, cleaning materials…
- A health area: first-aid and harm reduction items, with zines and other materials covering a range of themes
- An area for posting workshop and evening projects, updated on a daily basis.
- An area for signing up for various practical tasks (task board)
- Several rooms of varying sizes for workshops
- A dedicated party room (gymnasium)
- A free shop area
- A zine library with dozens of brochures on various subjects
Depending on the motivation of the participants, different spaces are created each year:
- Spaces exclusively for marginalized groups (for trans folks/people of color/dykes, etc.)
“The practice of spaces exclusively for marginalized groups is simply a consequence of the theory of self-emancipation.”
- The calinodrôme, a special relaxation space. Based on the original idea from Les Flamands Roses in Lille, this space is for massages and cuddling without normative barriers. A charter at the entrance specifies that the place is NO SEX, preferring a sensuality where all sexes, genders and and bodily norms will all be confused and/or welcomed. No photos or cameras in this place!
- ZITs (temporary intimacy zones)
- A room without interaction
- A sober space
- A BDSM space
- A sexual space
It is of course possible to create other spaces according to our desires and needs!
